Dear friends,
Our time in the UK has come to an end as Graeme returned to Uganda on Tuesday into what we are sure will be a slightly different atmosphere to what we left behind after the sad events in Kampala. Jenny will return to Uganda in two weeks time.
Please find our July newsletter from this link, reflecting on our time in the UK and our future programme.
Some photos taken in Uganda just before we came to the UK on home assignment can be seen on our Facebook page:
Our travels around the UK on home assignment were a real blessing to us (thank you everyone for your hospitality) and passed without incident save for a collision with a deer on the A34 in which the car seemed to suffer as much damage as the deer. As a reminder that it could have been worse we include a link to some pictures of an altogether different beast that we bumped into on the road in Uganda in March:
Finally, this newsletter goes out to many people for the first time that we met on our tour of UK churches. This is an opportune moment to remind us that some of you in past moments of weakness may have hinted that you would like to be kept in touch with our news and have been receiving our updates but actually they're just clogging up your inbox. We aren't clever enough to add an unsubscribe button, but please feel comfortable to say to us that you would prefer to be removed from our mailing list at this time and we won't be insulted in any way (promise!).
With our love,
Graeme and Jenny
