Testimonies
When I [Pete the webmaster] entered ‘testimony’ into Google, the top entry was Wikipedia’s website. After three entries Google offered me links to web pages relating to Christian Testimonies. Wikipedia explained that the term is frequently used in law and religion. In the law, testimony is a form of evidence that is obtained from a witness who makes a solemn statement or declaration of fact. Christians in general use the term “testify” or “to give your testimony” to mean “the story of how you became a Christian” or less commonly, it may refer to a specific event in a Christian’s life in which God has done something deemed particularly worth sharing. It is often a mix of fact and faith. Below are links to pages in this website which tell of people’s testimonies, either of how they became a Christian or something God has done which they deem particularly worth sharing. They are all real people who you can speak to, to confirm what they say.
