The timber hut standing on the site, before the church was built around it.
The volunteers start the ground work.
Most of the building work was carried out by the church members.
Concrete has been laid.
The concrete floors to the larger building have been laid, and bricks are being laid.

Health and safety?
Some of the workers took more risks than others.
Everyone did what they could.
Bricks were stored onsite, completely unprotected. Children also helped.
Good balance was necessary at times.

The original hut was still being used for services every Sunday.
Progress?
Seems a bit premature to build the front wall, and erect the notice board.
Manual labour - no machines.
Front entrance.
With the walls of the main building nearing completion, work started on the entrance.
Brickwork now complete.
The roof still needs covering.
